SALES-TAX ESTIMATE

See the tax before you finalize the price.

Enter a standard taxable purchase or invoice amount, choose the transaction tax jurisdiction, and compare a price before or after tax. This is a purchase/invoice estimate—not a business remittance calculation.

The selected country fixes the display currency: Canada CAD, United States USD, and Greece EUR. We do not convert currencies or select one from your location.

This is general illustrative information only. It is not an income-tax calculation, sales-tax filing, remittance instruction, invoice advice, or a determination of legal eligibility. Ask a qualified adviser about your transaction.

  • Scope: this illustration is for a standard taxable purchase or invoice. Exemptions, special tax bases, product-specific rules, fees, and other transaction facts are not modeled.
  • Tax jurisdiction must be determined from the transaction. This selection is not a determination of residence, place of supply, nexus, or legal tax eligibility.

The calculation model supplies the sources used for the current jurisdiction and rate selection. Review the underlying authority before relying on an estimate.

TWO QUICK QUESTIONS

How to use this estimate.

Does choosing a country or regime determine legal eligibility?

No. A selection only tells the calculator which reviewed model to illustrate. It does not determine residence, place of supply, exemption, VAT-category eligibility, nexus, or any other legal tax outcome.

Why is the U.S. local rate optional?

Local and special district charges can depend on a more precise transaction location. A blank local-rate field deliberately produces a state-base-only estimate, not a claim that the local rate is zero or that the total tax is complete.

Can I use this to file, remit, or calculate income tax?

No. This page is a limited purchase/invoice illustration. It does not prepare a sales-tax return, remittance, income-tax calculation, or payment, and it does not model business input-tax credits or filing obligations.
